DESCRIPTION:ONE WISH PRESENTED BY ZLC FINANCIAL & SPFK: \nSaturday November 18th\, 2023 \nIt is that time of year again. Time to pull out your dress to impress clothes\, grab your friends and support an amazing cause. Saturday November 18th is the Fourth Annual One Wish Variety Show presented by ZLC Financial & SPFK in Support of Make-a-Wish BC & Yukon. After a brief pandemic break we are going back to our roots to bring you the absolute best in entertainment in an intimate setting that is sure to please. This year’s event will feature some of your favorite acts from the past along with several new acts that will be sure to amaze and inspire you. With incredible entertainers\, a full service bar\, great food options\, a larger silent auction\, One Wish aims to bring you a night that will become the highlight of your year and have you begging for a table at next year’s event! \nFor those that need a reminder of what One Wish is all about… One Wish is a fun\, energetic old fashion variety show with a modern twist. Featuring talented local & nationally recognized artists performing live in a range of talents including Music\, Magic\, Dance\, Slam Poetry\, Sketch & Stand Up Comedy\, Spoken Word and rumor has it a Yo Yo Master. These artists will entertain and amaze you as the artists involved will perform for short stints over the evening show all hosted by 4 Time Juno Award winning Artist and Friend of SPFK\, Prevail of Swollen Members fame\, who will keep the proceedings rolling along as our MC for the Evening. To attend this outstanding event\, you can purchase a table of 10 seats for $500 or you can elevate your experience and go for the VIP treatment for $750! Premier seating\, Wine and Drink tickets (included)\, table service so you don’t have to leave during the show\, snacks and most of all you will be supporting an amazing cause. \nOne Wish Variety Show Details \nDate: Saturday\, November 18th\, 2023 \nTime: 6:30pm – Midnight \nLocation: Croatian Cultural Centre – 3250 Commercial Drive \nTables: $500 / $750 for VIP Tables (very limited number available) \nTables are limited and will be sold on a first come first served basis. \nTo secure a table (10 people)\, simply email steve@urbanrec.ca \nOne Wish Fundraising Information: \nOne Wish started with a simple goal. We wanted to raise enough money to provide a single wish to a child who is facing a life-threatening illness. Through the generous support of the artists\, our committee and of course all the people that attended our 1st event we achieved that goal in year 1! We loved being able to do that we decided that a single wish\, although amazing and life changing was nice\, but wouldn’t it be cool if we could do two wishes in our second year and guess what\, once again with the support of the all the above mentioned people we achieved that goal. Our three-year total raised for this amazing cause has exceeded $60\,000 and this year we aim to add significantly to that total so that we can once again provide multiple wishes to children who are suffering a life-threatening illness. \nOne Wish is incredibly proud to join other events such as Slo-Pitch for Kids (SPFK) to help in contributing over $1.5 Million dollars to Make-a-Wish Foundation of Canada the past 14 years. This amazing group of people have become a community with the goal of providing wishes for children who are suffering from life threatening illnesses. We couldn’t be more thankful or grateful to be part of this community.
